So, you have reached here! You should congratulate yourself because you are in the 1% of population blessed with exceptional web-surfing skills. (For the knowledge of non ST employees, I dropped a formal farewell email with a cryptic hint to this blog post).
Whoever comes into an organization, shalt leave it one day. But, Valar Dohaeris!
10-Feb-2012 Friday, I came here for interviews. They had me at Free food! At lunch time, I was having Matar Paneer, the person sitting beside me was having Chole Bhature. At that very moment I decided that I want to work here. Back to present, 8-May-2015 Friday, it's time to have the last lunch. In this article I have tried to commemorate my journey till now. It is going to be a very long article, so you may directly jump to section relevant to you.
First of all I would like to thank Chawan Sir and Inderpal Sir for giving me the chance to work in this organization in your team. I learned and enjoyed a lot with firmware team-mates. Thank you all for guiding me, and helping me through-out our journey from 8500 to MontBlanc. Thanks to the OMX team, not able to recall the reason(s). Special thanks to the Validation team for happily accepting all my patches.
Although my association with this team was not very long, but, I would like to thank Sandeep Sir for all the support and help he had given me. And, it was fun working with Imaging team-mates. Thank you all for your cooperation and help.
It was an honor to represent Imaging Warriors FC at XX-PremierLeague. Guys if you remember, we were the only team who scored against HED-Milan and APG-Sailab in XX-Premier League 2012. We have reached the quarter finals 2 times in a row, but this time (if it comes) we should conquer the final frontier. My blessings are with you. Who can forget our cricketing days. Sometimes it was 5 days in a week. Firmware-Omx rivalry should be reignited. Ashes! I really enjoyed playing with you guys.
I would like to thank Puneesh for inviting me and letting me be the part of soccer practice sessions of prestigious football club HED-Milan. It was always great playing with you guys. I wish someday I too, will have the skills and stamina like you all guys.
I wish my team best of luck for this tournament. I know you will #TakeItBack. To organizers, I may be available as an overseas player in the next transfer window. (Please contact my manager for base price and other negotiation.)
Special credits to our Bus-Rep Bharat, for giving me the opportunity to board the XX5 on 26-Apr-2012. I wish I could have been part of the mutiny of 19-Sep. I will miss all the back-seat masti, suro and besuro ki mehfils, burger/pizza/bread-pakora parties. The period from Jan-Mar 2015 was awesome ;-)
Undoubtedly the best time I spent in ST was with these guys. I am really gonna miss our after-lunch excursions to ST Bird Sanctuary. Unfortunately, all this shall come to an end in May 2018.
6-Sep-2013, how can I forget this day. I had tears in my eyes, as it was your last day. And on this very day I decided that I won't be lasting long in this company now. I really liked the food you served. May your catering RIP.
Thanks to you all, I could not have been half of the TT player I am now, if it were not for you guys. I used to play TT between 9-9.30am, while everyone else had their breakfast. But you guys posted a notice saying "TT Time 12pm to 3pm". So, I had to continuously practice TT for 3 hours at a stretch from that day onwards. I have become a better player, and will be representing India at the next Olympics.
Last, but not the least, I would like to thank our bus driver, bus conductor, chandila, security personnels, housekeeping guys, gardeners, sodexo, axis bank, concierge guy, iPDF, Old design building, New design building, Cafe Block, Bikano etc.
